From Strong Beginnings to Youth Resilience: Pathways Out of Adversity

Jun 13, 2014 |

USAID’s Global Development Lab and the Center on Children in Adversity are in discussion about conducting a longitudinal study to identify key investments that provide cost-effective pathways out of adversity at scale. The “learning laboratory” will hopefully be located in Uganda and engage closely with the Center for the Study of the African Child within Makerere University’s College of Humanities and Social Sciences. Internationally recognized experts in child and adolescent development, gender and economic development would be invited to participate in a steering committee to guide research efforts and help to disseminate results.
